RIGHTS OF MANAGEMENT

Nor West Jockey Club reserves the right to refuse entry to any person:

  • If the maximum number of people in the venue and/or its facilities has been reached

  • Attempting to access a non-operational area or service

  • Not authorised to access the venue

  • Deemed to be intoxicated, disorderly, or engaging in anti-social behaviour

  • Subject to current banning notices or venue exclusions

Any person may be removed from the venue if they:

  • Enter a restricted or unauthorised area

  • Fail to comply with a lawful request from staff or security

  • Use foul, abusive, racist, discriminatory, or threatening language or gestures

  • Are under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs, or engage in offensive, anti-social, disruptive, or unlawful behaviour

  • Commit acts of vandalism, littering, or wilful damage to property

No refunds will be provided to persons removed from the venue. Offending individuals may be referred to WA Police. For full details, refer to our Patron Refusal of Entry, Removal and Banning Policy Statement.

  • Patrons must be appropriately dressed for the event.

  • Clothing or accessories displaying offensive content, political/religious slogans, or unauthorised branding may result in refusal of entry.

  • Wearing colours or insignia representing Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMCGs), as designated by WA Police, is prohibited.

  • Any person attempting to conceal their identity with a scarf, mask, or similar item without a valid medical or religious reason may be refused entry or removed.

The following items are not permitted in the venue unless specifically authorised by management:

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Alcohol or illicit substances

  • Cans or glass containers

  • Musical instruments, air horns, or whistles

  • Unauthorised signage, promotional materials, or merchandise

  • Flags, banners, fireworks, flares, laser pointers, or pyrotechnics

  • Rollerblades, scooters, skateboards, or helmets

  • Animals (except for authorised assistance animals)

  • Any item that, in the opinion of management, could pose a safety risk or public nuisance

  • Food from commercial outlets or delivery services is not permitted.

  • Patrons may bring food in sealed containers, subject to inspection.

  • Bottles/Cups/Thermoses containing beverages will be checked for compliance with liquor regulations.

  • Entry is conditional on consenting to screening, which may include bag checks and electronic detection equipment.

  • Any person who refuses to comply with screening may be denied entry or removed.

This venue is licensed under the Liquor Control Act 1988 (WA).

  • Alcohol may not be brought into or removed from the venue.

  • Alcohol must only be consumed in designated areas..

  • It is an offence for a minor to purchase or consume alcohol, or for any person to supply alcohol to a minor.

Breaches will result in removal and referral to WA Police.

  • Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.

  • This includes tobacco, e-cigarettes, vapes, and any battery-operated vaporising devices.

  • Smoking restrictions are enforced under the Tobacco Products Control Act 2006 (WA).

  • Valid tickets, wristbands, or membership badges must be retained at all times.

  • Damaged, defaced, or unauthorised tickets will not be accepted.

  • Entry is permitted only to the areas indicated by the patron’s ticket type.

  • General admission does not guarantee seating.

  • At family-friendly events (e.g., Family Day and Swan Draught Day), children under 18 must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult at all times.

  • No persons under the age of 18 are permitted on-site during 18+ events, including:

    • City of Karratha Ladies Day

    • Azure Minerals Roebourne Cup Day
      These events are strictly 18+ and valid photo ID may be required at entry.

By entering the venue, patrons consent to their image, voice, or likeness being recorded or photographed and used for promotional or broadcast purposes without compensation.

  • Entry is at each person’s own risk.

  • Nor West Jockey Club accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage sustained within the venue.

  • Patrons are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times.

  • Patrons must comply with all conditions of entry and follow directions from authorised staff.

  • Failure to do so may constitute an offence under the Emergency Management Act 2005 (WA) or the Criminal Code Act Compilation Act 1913 (WA).

  • Penalties may include:

    • Up to 12 months imprisonment

    • Fines of up to $50,000 for individuals

    • Fines of up to $250,000 for corporate bodies

  • Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA).

  • Your information will not be shared with third parties unless legally required or with your consent.
